The CMWSSB released 2023 recruitment for 108 vacant positions. 76 vacancies for Graduate Apprentices (Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering) and 32 vacancies for Technicians (Diploma) Apprentices (Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering). There were 52 vacancies available for Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and 24 vacancies for Electrical and Electronics Engineering. While 10 vacancies for civil engineering and 22 vacancies for Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The vacancy reservation is set for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per the norms released by the operating body. If candidates fall into particular reserved categories in order to secure the relaxation they have to provide their caste certificate.
Educational Qualification
To be an eligible candidate for the desirable post, the candidate needs to meet the minimum educational qualifications. For Graduate Apprentices the minimum qualifications is a degree in Technology or Engineering issued from Statutory University or any university approved by the act of parliament or graduate examination certificate from any State or Central Government recognised institution.
While the education qualifications for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices is a Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline or Diploma in Engineering completed from any state or central recognised institution.

The age limit is fixed according to the apprenticeship rules.
Selection Process
Candidates are selected through various steps- Shortlistment,followed by the Document Verification. The candidates are selected based on the percentage of marks secured by them in the respective field. Those candidates who have secured higher percentage of marks have greater chance to get shortlisted for further rounds. The selected candidates will be informed via email about further rounds of the CMWSSB Recruitment 2023.
