The National Water Development Agency (NWDA) is an autonomous agency working under Ministry of Jal Shakti under Government of India. It’s a government funded organisation that came into existence in 1982. The work of NWDA is to investigate and carry out surveys for Water Resources Development.

Vacancy Details

There are 40 available vacancies. For Junior Engineer (Civil) there are 13 available vacancies, for Junior Accounts Officer 1 vacancy. For Draftsman 6 vacancies, for Upper Division Clerk  7 vacancies, Stenographer 9 vacancies and Lower Division Clerk 4 vacancies. The vacancies are further reserved for various categories.

The selection process of these qualified posts are subjected to individual’s performance in Computer Bases Test/ Optical Mark Response. The candidates who successfully qualify the examination will be given preference in selection process.

Educational Qualification

To be an eligible candidate for the desirable post, the candidate needs to meet the essential qualifications. The educational qualifications vary post wise. For the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) candidates need to have Diploma in Civil Engineering. For the post of Junior Accountant candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and 3 year work experience. For Draftsman the candidates must have ITI in Draftsmanship. The Upper Division Clerk requires Graduate degree while the Stenographer should have 12th Passed Certificate + Steno and Lower Division Clerk should hold 12th pass certificate + Typing experience.
