South East Central Railway Recruitment 2023

The South East Central Railways started operating in 2003 and it has been 20 years since then. The South East Central Railway has its headquarters in Bilaspur Junction. It is counted as one of the nineteen railway operating zones. It has three divisions- Nagpur SEC railway, Raipur railway, Bilaspur railway. The South East Central Railway has Bilaspur Station as a regional hub. It is one of the main junctions and busiest stations. Annually the South East Central Railway does recruitment process for various posts that are released as per the need.

The notification released by South East Central Railway on 3 May 2023 welcomed applicants to come and apply for South East Central Railway Recruitment from 3 May 2023 to 3 June 2023. Educational Qualifications 

To apply for above mentioned posts the candidates should be 10^th passed under 10+2 pattern or equivalent and possess ITI course in relevant field.

Age Limit 

The candidates should be 15 years or more and the upper age limit should be less than 24 years as dated on 1 July 2023. 

The upper age relaxation is provided as-

1. Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe- 5 years
2. OBC- 3 years 
3. PwD and Ex-Servicemen- 10 years

Selection Process 

The candidates will be selected in following manners-

1. Average of marks scored by the candidates in Matriculation and ITI examination. In Matriculation minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

It is therefore advised to the candidates to fill the ITI marks and 10^th marks on the portal of the official website.

Medical Examination 

The candidates have to get the medical certificate and bring it at the time of document verification. The candidates who don’t bring the same will not be considered. 

General Instructions 

1. SC/ST/OBC are required to submit the caste certificate
2. The application has to be submitted online.
3. No travelling allowances will be given to the applicants.
4. The documents that are required to be uploaded are scanned passport sized photograph, signature and other relevant documents.
5. PwD have to bring the disability certificate to avail 40% reservation benefits.
6. The recruiting body holds the right to select or reject the candidates.

How to Apply? 

The applicants can apply for the South East Central Railways in online mode only. The applicants have to visit apprenticeshipindia.org. On the main page the candidates have to register themselves first. After registration a registered ID and password will be generated. The applicants have to login and filled in informations such as education, name, age, etc and upload the scanned documents along with photograph and signature. After which the candidates have to pay the application fee and review the application and submit it.
