The University of Madras offers Research Fellowship for 59 posts. The vacancies are available in four different campuses: Chepauk, Marina, Guindy, Taramani Campus. Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications needed to apply for this- a) Candidates should have Master’s degree or equivalent with 55% in aggregate or Grade ‘B’ in 7 point-scale accepted by UGC.
b) Master’s degree in Arts/Languages/Science/Fine Art/Education/Management/or equivalent
c) Candidates who have done their Master’s before 19 September 1991 will be given 5% marks relaxation, or candidates belonging to SC/ST, or candidates secured marks between 50%-55%.
Age Limit
The age limit is decided as per the university’s norms. The generally accepted age limit for the post is 18 to 56 years of age. However, authority will specify the required age limit.
Selection Process
